How to play

On the home screen, tap Play.
Choose a deck — International, British or Dutch — and pick 5 or 10 words per card, then tap Next: Teams.
Add 2–8 teams (tap a name to rename it), then tap Start game.
Tap Start round. You have 30 seconds to describe the words to your teammates — without saying the word itself.
Tap each word the moment it's guessed.
When time's up, tap any last-second guesses to count them, then pass the phone to the next team.
The first team to reach the target score wins.

Common questions

Do I need an internet connection? No — Half a Minute is fully offline.

Do I need an account? No accounts, no sign-ups. Just open and play.

I can't hear the countdown sounds. Make sure your phone's ring/silent switch is off; the countdown and end chime play in the final seconds of each round.

How many players? As many as you like, split across 2 to 8 teams, all on one phone.
